This was a super long weekend. SitW have created something magic with a fun rustic setting for camp, excellent guided rides and an overall welcoming, lovely aura. Nicky and Meg made a great double act guiding, and Nicky’s local knowledge of the area and trails was particularly good. I only ask that SitW provide cake alongside the tea and coffee which awaits everyone when they get back from a long ride!

This was my first SITW event, so I wasn’t sure what to expect or whether it would be for me, but it only took a couple of hours to feel right at home. Everyone was friendly and nice, and the tireless SITW crew were fantastic at running everything smoothly and looking after us – on and off the bike. Great daily choice of gravel routes to accommodate all levels, right amount of flexibility, fantastic views, good food and accommodation, and most importantly a supportive, kind, fun group of women to ride with. Couldn’t have asked for more – I had a blast.

Great trip — excellently supported and with really friendly people. The two routes offered every day were well-pitched for different abilities and had some wonderful scenery. The mix of possible activities was also great. I especially loved the opportunities for wild swimming during and after the rides.

I had the most incredible time at the SITW Scotland Gravel Camp. Everything about it was fabulous. The team was wonderful, welcoming, supportive and great ride leaders. They were enthusiastic about every aspect of the work they put in over the weekend, serving meals, dealing with mechanicals, ride leading and even wafting extra heat in the sauna (you know who you are). So much work put into making the whole SITW experience such a special one. The rides were spectacular! Such beautiful routes. Thanks to Rhona for staying behind with me and giving encouragement on every push (and step) up the very windy, Saturday climb. No woman left behind right?! Thanks too to Jodie for staying with me and making sure my bike was safe after my computer/camera mount broke leaving me with a dodgy handlebar situation. The entire weekend was fabulous. The venue was amazing with wood fired sauna, river for swimming, a gin distillery, free roaming chickens and goats and more importantly such a fabulous location for accessing the trails. Big thank you to Charlotte and the whole team for curating and facilitating a trip to remember. See you all again next year.

I had a great time, with great company despite travelling alone. Campsite is in a lovely location and is basic but works. Routes were very good: challenging but do- able. Food wasn’t up to SITW usual standard on first night but after that much better (hence 4*, not 5). The atmosphere at camp was brilliant. Agree with previous suggestion about mop for shower room floor.
