The second in our WILDER series, our 7 day Bosnia &amp; Herzegovina trip will take us in a loop from the vibrant capital city of Sarajevo. We’ll ride through remote mountain villages, through modern ski-towns, and little visited corners of the country. Carrying all the basics we need on our bikes, we’ll take on stunning gravel climbs, ride through high mountain plains, along remote mountain trails, and even take a spin on a Bobsleigh track from the Winter Olympics.  We’ll experience two contrasting sides of Bosnia - it’s bustling and cosmopolitan cities, packed with atmosphere and history, and rural Bosnian life that can feel frozen in time.  Bosnia has a troubled past, and reminders of the war of the 90’s are never far away. About this trip

So much fun riding with the Sisters in the Wild, and discovering the beautiful landscape of Scotland! It was so lovely to be looked after by the team, and make some great new connections with other riders. I had a great time and would highly recommend any trip with the SITW. Looking forward to another trip soon!

Cycling through Kyrgyzstan with Sisters in the Wild was an adventure I’ll never forget. It showed me that the best parts of a journey aren’t just about reaching the top of a mountain or counting the kilometres, but about the people you ride with and the memories you make together.

Riding with such an amazing group of women brought so much energy, laughter, and fun to every day—whether we were chatting over camp meals or helping each other up a tough climb. The friendships, support, and genuine joy in our group made every moment special.

Shout out to Rachel and Karen—our wonderful guides who filled every day with encouragement, warmth, and plenty of laughter. Their kindness and adventurous spirit made the trip even more memorable.

Kyrgyzstan WILDER Bikepacking (#2)

Kyrgyzstan was incredible! The riding, terrain and landscapes were other-worldly. The wild camping spots and yurts were beautiful. Everything was super well organised. Food was delicious. It’s obvious the SITW crew put a heap of thought and effort into developing the route, accommodation and logistics. Best part though? The awesome and inspiring lady gang - what a bunch. Sore cheeks from laughing. Rach and Karen were brilliant. Could not have wished for a better trip. 10/10 would do it again.

An amazing trip! Excellent itinerary to showcase the wonderful landscape, challenging but achievable by taking each day at a time. Reassuring to have a capable support vehicle to hand. The catering was really good with hearty food to keep us going. All topped off with Rachael and Karen as exceptional guides. Truly a trip of a lifetime.

Breakfast: would be nice if the was an earlier option so there was time to digest before pedalling! 



Wales Gravel Camp

Such a great trip! This gravel camp was sold out early and I was lucky enough to get a last minute cancellation - so lucky! Great place to stay, food was fabulous, the guides and routes were the best ever. Am I convincing you that I enjoyed it? If you’re thinking of doing a SITW trip, stop thinking, just book it!

Such a fab weekend with a wonderful bunch of like-minded women. The routes were curated to perfection - long and technical enough to push boundaries, but not so much as to exclude anyone. 
Charlotte and the SITW crew were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. It felt like we left with some new friends and riding buddies for future adventures. I loved it, and will definitely be booking on another SITW trip soon.

Staylittle Lodge is a brilliant venue for a cycling trip, perfectly set up with mechanics station, great facilities and good transport links. The riding and guiding were excellent and the SITW team made sure we were well catered for on all levels.

Lovely riding with lovely people. Such a great bunch of riders, inclusive both on and off the bike. Food was delicious, location was great. 

Had a fantastic time in Wales with SITW.  Great routes, lovely accommodation and seamless organisation.  Will definitely be booking on future trips.

A wonderful weekend of gravel riding. SITW are well organised, able to provide for all levels of cyclists and provide a safe environment for group activities. Ut was amazing to mix with like minded women and the staff were amazing.

Wilder indeed!  Beautiful landscapes, remote camping, epic routes, SITW Kyrgyzstan checked all the boxes. This was a well organized tour offing the right amount of support, perfectly times snack spots, delicious meals and varied accommodations.

It was a great week: an outstanding organisation of the trip, I felt very looked after and the routing was excellent. And the community was amazing, such great people to ride with. You can feel the love and passion Sisters in the Wild has put into this trip.

Slovenia Bikepacking

 Just amazing! Charlotte has collated a wonderful adventure in a stunning part of the world. Surrounded by mountains at altitude, the logistics & dynamics of the trip ran beautifully with a well-balanced range of accommodation throughout. Weather was extreme & changeable but this was dealt with thoughtfully & with rider safety always a consideration. Food was plentiful as was the laughter & fun throughout. Arrived knowing no one, left having made new friends/future cycling buddies. A huge, huge thank you for a phenomenal trip.

I had an amazing time on the Slovenian bikepacking trip! The routes each day were spectacular, through stunning valleys, villages, and the Vrsic mountain pass was tough but amazing. Everything was so well organised from start to finish.

Our guides were lovely and very knowledgeable, helping with anything technical and making sure everyone felt comfortable. Each day was the perfect mix of challenge and enjoyment, with plenty of scenic swim stops along the way.

If you love cycling, the company of amazing women and want to experience Slovenia’s stunning scenery up close, this trip is an absolute must!

This was an amazing trip - the ideal introduction to multi day bikepacking. The route was brilliantly planned - exactly the right level of challenge and a great combination of camping and hostel stays. The guides Annie and Rhona were both amazing - knowledgeable, enthusiastic, supportive but never patronising. They were very much part of the group and were a real pleasure to spend time with. I would absolutely recommend SITW and this trip 😊

Scotland Bikepacking (June)

What a fantastic trip and so well organised. Huge thanks to Charlotte, Rachael, Alice and Lily for setting up the routes, guiding us, looking after any mechanicals, sorting restaurants and self catering meals, finding the best swim spots and generally all being superstars. Always felt safe in their hands, especially when it got super hot. Loved Slovenia - so beautiful - and loved the company of all the riders. Would not hesitate to recommend this trip to anyone looking for new bike adventures.

The bikepacking trip was excellent - the route was really well designed, and having the hostel night in the middle was such a treat. The group was excellent, and the guides were outstanding. I loved learning more about the Highlands and Bikepacking from such a competent group of women. 

10/10 I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting to increase their confidence with bikepacking, or just to take the opportunity to spend time in amazing scenery with a great group of people. 

Fantastic trip! Loved it! A relaxed holiday vibe mixed with lots of opportunities to challenge yourself and feelings of achievement when you get up the hills on the bike or riding the rapids in white water rafting. 
There was never any feeling of being rushed which added to the relaxed chilled vibe. The organisation was superb.
I really enjoyed the opportunity to ride on my own or as a group depending on how I felt day to day or at different times of the day. Knowing there was always someone not too far away provided a lot of reassurance. 
Plans changed on the last day due to weather risks, meaning we did the short(er) route and potentially risks from the longer route. Yet, this was also a great day and provided the opportunity to have more of a relaxed day at the end of the holiday. 
Overall, it’s a holiday I would very much recommend to anyone considering it. Beautiful country, fun gravel riding with challenging hills and very well organised. Thanks to all who made it so special and memorable.

This was my first trip with Sisters in the Wild, and it exceeded all expectations in the best ways possible. Firstly by giving me confidence that I was stronger than I thought, and secondly by meeting such an amazing group of women. I’ve been on a few organised group holidays but this one has certainly been the best one I’ve done. I loved this way of seeing Albania and I will be doing more SitW trips in the future 

Albania Bikepacking

In a word Wow! Stunning jaw dropping scenery, almost no cars up in the mountains gave a great sense of isolation besides the wildlife that seemed to follow us throughout. Incredible riding so  well organised in such a thoughtful supportive way - with wonderful company to boot. I never knew roads could be this much fun! Ps Albanian coffee is 👌 !

Such a beautiful trip, I would 100% recommend to anyone and everyone. A great trip to ignite that sense of adventure; good for beginner bikepackers, but also wonderful for those more experienced riders. A nice mix of mind blowing scenery and culture. The guides were fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable, they made you feel comfortable to just be yourself whatever your ability and to enjoy the trip in your own way. The group was amazing, it felt like a real family and I'm excited for all the future adventures we will share (it definitely feels like the beginning of something more). The local guide was also really friendly and thoughtful and made sure we were really well looked after. I loved it from start to finish, the only negative was that it had to end!

It was amazing! Accommodation, food, company-it was very well organised and everything was seamless-all I had to think about was getting on my bike and cycling! Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone 

Fantastic first trip abroad with Sisters in the Wild.  Wasn’t sure how if I would keep up/manage the heat though knew I could cycle 30 miles, even if I was slow! No matter though, inclusive pace on the shorter ride and such a small bike-friendly island I would encourage anyone thinking about it to take the plunge.  The trip guide is accurate with its advice and description of the trip, kit and fitness advised. 
The guides were encouraging and supportive, and my fellow cyclists were lovely. All ages , all abilities.  
Can recommend winter sun cycling with SITW.  Will be booking again this year. 

Lanzarote Gravel Camp

It was such an incredible experience! The trails, the vibes, and the whole crew – just amazing. Every ride was a highlight, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. The finca was the perfect place to relax after a day on the bike, and the food was just amazing – I looked forward to every meal!

What made it even more special was being part of a women’s-only camp. Everyone was so supportive and kind, and it felt great to ride in such an encouraging and empowering environment.

Huge thanks for this unforgettable adventure!

Fantastic experience. 

This was truly a great example of why a women’s only gravel camp is much needed and treasured. 

From the shared communal meals over breakfast and dinner to the ride leaders being proactive to engage with all of the riders on a daily basis, I always felt welcomed and encouraged to bike within my abilities and never felt like I was holding others back if I was lagging or wanted to do a longer or shorter ride. 

We were always given thorough briefings about what to expect for each day’s rides.
